Paguro Generators - quiet achievers

With a Paguro generator, you'll experience quieter, smoother and more powerful performance that is second to none, just ask Duncan McKenzie, Owner of Lemaris Yachts.
“The genset is performing flawlessly and we are really happy with its performance and operation,” Duncan said.
Lemaris is a 53 foot Amel Super Maramu ketch, presently located in Hobart at the Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania and was recently repowered with a compact 6.5 kVA Paguro 6500 Generator.
“I chose the Paguro as it was the lightest and smallest 1500 RPM genset I could find, and I haven't been disappointed. It is coupled to a Victron Quattro 4.25 kW inverter charger and provides adequate power for our needs, which include air-conditioning, battery charging, washing machine, dish washer etc,” Duncan explained.
“The installation was simplified by the fact that the width of the engine mounts between the two gensets was almost identical so all I had to do was lengthen the mounting channels and bolt it – easy!
“The best part was the comment I received from a guest on board who asked if the yacht [Amel Super Maramu] further down the marina row was running its motor, because the Paguro was so quiet that they thought it couldn't be on board,” Duncan said.
Backed by a dedicated national dealer network, Welling & Crossley distributes Paguro Generators, ranging from 3 kVA to 18 kVA to the Australian marine leisure market. For more information about Paguro Generators call 1300 493 840 or email sales@leespower.com.au
